A time for Journaling and Reflections!
Wow, just like that, it's January 2025. Even though we're in the midst of winter and it's still dark outside, I feel cosy, and it’s the perfect moment to nurture those little seeds I've planted... metaphorically, of course.
Having reviewed my Doula business over the past year, there's so much room for more knowledge and growth and my thirst for learning and researching continues. It's a journey that continues to unfold, and I’m excited about where it will lead me.
I've been reflecting on my work as a Doula and as Reiki practitioner, identifying what it is I do naturally all the time, what is it that I return to without thinking? By identifying and establishing what that is, I can then bring that in a meaningful way to my community. Since January the 1st I have joined a daily 21-day Manifestation Challenge, a deep dive into the Self. As I am clearing out the emotional clutter, I am grateful for what it has taught me and I lovingly let it go and am ready to move forward with clarity and enthusiasm. Recognising my stubbornness and confronting my challenges has revealed my greatest strengths. Which is, (I think) I am whimsically guided by love and my passion for helping those in need regardless of the cost to myself, and I as a result I get burnt. I love what I do, but it is not always a sustainable and productive way to function.
How am I approaching January? I’m embracing this month as a time for growth and self-discovery, ready to take on whatever comes next.
