Closing the Bones

​This is a ceremony I have adapted  and incorporated the traditions of Closing of the Bones Ceremony.  

It is a ceremony and a sacred ritual designed to support women during major life transitions,

not only after childbirth but also closing one chapter or stepping into a new phase,

this personalized ceremony offers a nurturing space for reflection, release, and renewal.

 

Before the ceremony, we will have a mini consultation to understand your journey and set intentions for the ritual.

Specially selected oils using Lotuswei blends are used for massage with a choice to incorporate

Cacao and Reiki, along with a poem or a beautiful text that has meaning to you.

 

This ceremony is thoughtfully crafted for each individual, rooted in ancient traditions of wisdom and reverence for life’s cycles.

It is a process of deep connection— to yourself, your body, and the sacred energy that surrounds you.

Using a traditional rebozo scarves we gently rock and bind the body, symbolizing the closure and leaving behind

what no longer serves you and invite loving and supporting energy for the next step of your journey.

 

Although having been adapted for the modern era this a tradition which originates in South America

but  also shares similar rituals all over the world  that has passed down from generations of women

it honours and serves as a reminder of our strength, resilience, and intuition.

 

It is a moment to celebrate the powerful transitions to the woman you are becoming

and to acknowledge the cycles of life that are always unfolding.
